Preparation for Discomfort or Feelings of Panic
Lying flat on your back with a whirring machine overhead and underneath can be a daunting situation. However, to avoid rising feelings of discomfort and panic, close your eyes, follow the instructions, and breathe deep when you can. Try to meditate, listen to music, or think of something happy. Get in the right headspace before you attend your MRI appointment.
